Smilies Problem

IDK if it's just me that it happens to, but when I'm on the Advance Edit of a Post and click on the button to the right to get "More" Smilies the window with the rest of the Smilies pops up and the after 5 seconds it goes nuts and starts flickering and flickering and it does not load any smilies any more...it just stays flickering til Iclose it. If I maximize the window then I'm really stuck and I need to hit ALT+f4 to close the window. Otherwise is impossible. So for now I'm stuck to using only the smilies on the right side of the Advance Edit window...Could you take a look at that issue?

Vin, I and a few others who have worked on the coding of this site tried to replicate this problem but had no luck. We will try our best to find a fix for you. In the meantime, maybe you can try using a different browser such as Firefox?

Anyone else having this problem?

Ok...I can deal with no smilies...it's just sometimes I miss them! :( lol! See!

Yeah...I use IE on Vista 64bit...Maybe that might have something to do with it...Hopefully you guys get a fix on it! Please let me know if you do! :)

Smilies work perfect on Firefox...I got to see them all! LOL!

(What language are they on though? Just wondering cause it sure isn't English! LOL!)

Vin, Firefox is so much better. When we look at previous site statistics, almost everyone browsed the forum with Firefox. That being said, our web developers wrote the code for the custom template to be primarily compatible with Firefox and Safari. If I recall correctly, the problem shouldn't persist if you switch and go over to the default vBulletin theme. That being said, if you haven't made the switch over to Firefox, do so. You'll be glad you did ;) .

Edit: Regarding the language, it's written in Russian. A few coders designed those specifically so they can be used with dark themes like this. I still have to go back and remove some of the ones with Russian writing :D .
